Check out Dogwood Downs!

This last week I was invited to visit Dogwood Downs event venue! Holly and Kyndra are exception women devoted to making sure the wedding space is all you envision. Since at Charleston Elopement Packages we specialize in elopements, I was concerned the space (and price) would be too large.

I was pleasantly surprised at how spaces are divided up. While it creates spaces for different activities at a larger wedding, for the elopement it feels cozy. For the intimate ceremony that would like the privacy as well as a serene environment to spend time with family, this is definitely the place! Many other venues in the area require you to pay a fee to rent part of the park or facility, while the rest of the area is open to the public. When you rent the event space at Dogwood Downs, you are the only people present.

At the front of the cottage is a bridal suite, where the bride can have her hair and make-up done, or put on her dress or gown!

You can choose a natural tree arch that requires no decoration...

Or a more traditional arch that you can decorate or add arch floral to your package.

Some of the areas include trees, a pond, benches, a fountain.. etc...

Behind the cottage, is a wonderful porch setting for relaxing, chatting, or sharing a catered meal.

The elopement rental is currently $500. Of course the price can change with demand/availability so you will want to contact Dogwood Downs directly to check on availability as well as price. Chairs are included in the price.
