About Us
Penny Reynolds offers over 15 years wedding experience to make your elopement all you envision! She started her journey as an ordained wedding minister and wedding officiant, and expanded into coordination, planning, floral design, and photography!
Penny started her adventure in Greenville, SC and performed weddings in the upstate of South Carolina as well as neighboring North Carolina. Her husband’s job transferred them to Charleston where she grew her company to a 6 figure business operating 5 wedding teams across the region. When her son joined the Air Force, Penny and her husband, Jimmy, decided to move to the Hilton Head Island area.
Three years later, an opportunity to return home to Charleston presented itself. Penny and Jimmy jumped on it, and returned home. Penny had a small elopement company in Hilton Head (Southern Charm Elopements) and decided to stay focused on elopements in Charleston. Charleston Elopement Packages was opened April 2020! She has, yet again, pulled together a dynamic team of wedding vendors that hold the same high standards as her.
The main officiant used by Charleston Elopement Packages is Cori Carpenter. Both worked with Penny in the past as well as currently and offer over 10 years experience!
For hair and makeup we use Karen of Covergirl Brides! She has over 20 years of experience, is fully trained and licensed in her art! You can view our brides that have had her services on our photo website.
Your photographer will most likely be Penny or Carrie. Carrie of Carrie Patricia Studios has over 12 years experience!
Lynn and David 9/29: Our experience with Charleston Elopement FAR exceeded my expectations. The hardest part of planning our elopement was choosing the location. We wanted something special and memorable yet without all of the stress and fuss. We are thrilled by our choice of Charleston! That led us to Penny and her fabulous crew.
